1. Introduction
Welcome to Saska Akademi. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Saska Akademi regarding your use of our website, learning programs, and the Saska Exchange community. Please read them carefully. If you do not accept the Terms, you should not use our services. We may offer additional guidelines for specific courses or events; those guidelines form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be able to enter a contract under local law to enroll in programs or purchase services. Unless stated otherwise, our offerings are intended for learners aged 16 or older. When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us promptly so we can help protect your account.
3. Permitted Use
Our website and materials are provided to support education, skills development and career growth. You agree not to misuse the site, disrupt classes or events, infringe intellectual property, attempt to access systems without authorization, or post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or harmful. We may moderate community spaces and remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
4. Learning Content & Intellectual Property
All course outlines, slides, recordings, assessments, graphics, logos and other materials we create are owned by Saska Akademi or our licensors. Enrollment grants you a personal, non‑transferable license to use materials for your own study. Unless we give written permission, you may not copy, share, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content. Where we reference third‑party works, you must follow the original author’s license terms and any attribution requirements.
5. Payments & Refunds
Prices for programs and services are shown at the time of enrollment. Fees are due in the currency and timeline stated during checkout or in your invoice. Unless a specific course page or agreement states otherwise, fees are non‑refundable once a cohort begins. If a session is postponed or canceled by us, you may choose a rescheduled date or request a credit toward another program. Scholarship or discount eligibility must be truthful; benefits gained through misrepresentation may be revoked.
6. Events & Community Standards
Saska Exchange events, forums and study groups are designed to be welcoming and productive. Treat all participants with respect, keep discussions on topic, and avoid sharing private information without consent. We do not permit harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, or the distribution of exam answers or pirated materials. We may remove individuals from events or platforms to protect the community or comply with legal duties. We may capture photos or recordings at public events; if you prefer not to appear, let the organizer know at check‑in so we can accommodate you.
7. Third‑Party Services
We may link to or integrate tools such as video conferencing, payment processors or portfolio platforms. These services are operated by others and have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of third‑party tools is at your discretion; we are not responsible for content, security or availability maintained by those providers.
8. Disclaimers
We work hard to deliver accurate content and reliable scheduling; however, courses and features may change as we improve our curriculum. Except where prohibited by law, the website, programs and community spaces are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that participation will guarantee employment, admission to a school, or any specific outcome, though we aim to equip you with skills and guidance that improve your prospects.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saska Akademi and its instructors, staff and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to Saska Akademi for the program giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Saska Akademi from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, violation of law, or misuse of the services.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to courses, platforms or events if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, endangered others, or engaged in fraud or misuse. You may cancel participation at any time; termination does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred unless a separate refund policy applies.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect improvements, new programs, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Substantial changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated by email. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Somalia unless mandatory local law provides otherwise. If a dispute arises, we encourage informal resolution first. If the dispute cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, the parties may agree to mediation or seek a remedy through competent courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms or need assistance, contact Saska Akademi at saskaexchange@gmail.com or call +252615894200. Address: Mogadishu, Somalia.
